Unfortunately, I don't have any contact with Samsung NZ/Australia. I'll send this to someone I think can address this, but for the moment, I don't have any further information.
For months now the NZ support webpage for the Samsung Series 6, 40" LCD (LA40B650) has been displaying the latest firmware version as 1007.0. Today, I noticed it had changed to 2001.1. Great, version 2 I thought. Alas, when I installed it, I see my firmware version has dropped to 1006. On further investigation, the unzipped files are dated 8th May, 2009, instead of 28th May 2009. I can always reapply the previous firmware version, but wanted to check what the story is. A mistake when the website was updated maybe? Oh, and the Aus website is also displaying the same "new" version. Any ideas?
