Anyone with experience with the Slider on Verizon (or with other carriers). Is it worth the money, will it last, how's the sound quality, signal strenth? Thanks.

Just purchased one for my daughter and spent yesterday setting it up. I like it - the speaker phone is great and it is so small it can fit in your pocket and you don't even know it is there. One concern I have is the review I read on CNET. It seem after about 4-5 month the phone will not stay charged. The guy even replaced the battery and it still will not stay charged for more than two minutes. I'm somewhat concerned and have saved the review in case I have problems.

I am currently trying to save a JPEG file sent as an email attachment as cell phone wall paper. Ultimately I want to transfer digital photos from my camera to my phone via email. Any thoughts?

Be sure to check the battery's # on www.kyocera.com, to see if it's one that has been recalled. If so, they have a phone # and a form to get the free replacement battery.

I have also read a review where the slide loosens with time and can cause some problems. It's such a neat phone though (if it's reliable)!

Thanks for the insight regarding the battery recall. The first thing I told my daughter when she picked the Slider phone was the slider feature. I can see where continual use of the slider feature could lead to a problem.

Thanks Again for the insight.
