Kyocera Is Coming Back with New and Improved Phones

Feb 20, 2006 3:42AM PST

Kyocera Corp. just came out with Jet Slider for Amp'd Mobile. Slider Sonic for Virgin Mobile. Slider Remix (No carrier yet) and the new Xcursion. All the Slider Series phones have great multimedia including Mp3 and Video (With expandable memory) exculsive MTV content* (only on some phones) and Video's online. All Slider phones have great speakers nice paint jobs and vivid color screens. Kyocera also has a nice line up of entry level phones like K10 RAVE, AND K9. Some people think of Kyocera as cheap-plastic-simple but the phones are getting better and ther service is too. I myself have the Kyocera Slider Sonic and My Grandma has the Kyocera K10 and we both agree that they are well made phones. they are also very sturdy and they do everything they are supposed to do well. if you agree the me post your satisfaction, if you don't post why and what you think is better excludes (Motorola Slvr L7, etc.)

Any phone that isn't advertised may in fact be a good phone. Marketing a phone like the Razr is all about hype. So what it's the thinnest phone out there. I personally think Motorola phones are crap. I never did well with them for reception. My Motorola that I had, the 120c and my brother's V265 both can't handle fair signal areas that well. My samsung a650 wasn't advertised and it does great reception wise. I could careless about style as I care about a phone that has great reception. As for Kyocera, their phones usually have great reception. I wish there was a better selection available to Verizon Wireless. Alltel & US Cellular have better Kyocera phones, and wished one of their bluetooth phones would be available to Verizon Wireless, though it would likely be crippled, but at least the next best thing is bitpim & a data cable, or another aftermarket program.
