Kyocera 2325 Battery Pack

Sep 30, 2005 2:49AM PDT

Cell phone used by one of my kids would not charge yesterday. Cell phone is 2+ years old, used frequently and charged each night. When phone was turned on yesterday, nothing happened, but you could see charge indicator shadowed in display background. After taking off battery pack and trying to sand contacts (not very successfully since they're small and recessed), I tried it again. Still didn't work. After taking pack off and on several times, it finally worked, with indicator showing full charge. I don't mind buying new battery pack, but I don't want to buy one if this isn't the problem. Any chance that this isn't the problem? Phone has worked well since we've had it. Just wondering if Kyocera phones or maybe just this series is prone to battery failures. Thanks for any help.
