But I don't have Nero's InCD installed either.

Does anyone have the Kodak Easyshare software installed on a Windows XP SP2? I am having problems installing the software and was hoping someone could give me some orientation.

I cannot get this software installed. I used the interactive help on the kodak site and have sent 4 different emails with my error codes. Does anyone have an easy fix. I disabled virus and firewall plus other programs to try to get this done. I can download the software but not install. The CD that came with the camera also won't install. I am not much of a techie, unfortunately, but could use some help.
Thanks in advance
Judy
A long discussion ended when InCD was uninstalled. The Kodak software doesn't seem to install when InCD is on the machine.
Since it has an issue with InCD, there could be other software it will have an issue with such as any CD emulator or CD as a drive type software.

I bought the EasyShare CX7430 a few days ago and was unable to install the software from the CD. Kodak support told me that a very recent Windows update prevented download from the CD. I was sent to the Kodak website to download the software from it and that worked fine. Kodak is supposed to send me the updated CD.
See http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/products/ekn026079.jhtml?pq-path=10/5224 for an announcement about the problem and the solution for it.
