It might be easier to disable EasyShare from running at Startup. You don't say which OS, but assuming you are using Windows, eg XP or Vista, then the Startup list is held in the "Run" commands in the registry.

That might stop guests from accessing the photos, but any other Administrator account will be able to find these photos. So may be you need to move them off the computer?

how do you prevent people who use your pc from accessing your pictures. even on guest account easyshare loads up. why isn't there a setting to lock easyshare from loading and protect your privacy? is there one?
