The two cameras are priced just about the same and looking at the specifications, they are after the same customer.
As with all cameras, they each have some ups and downs when compared. But nothing that can be considered a deal breaker.
Both cameras take very good photos.
I compared photos from both cameras, taken of the same subject.
The Olympus has the sharper and more detailed photo.
The Kodak file size for their sample photo was 1 meg and the Olympus file size for their sample photo was 2 meg.
This indicates that Kodak is using a more aggressive compression of the .jpg photos.
Either camera is a bargain at today's prices.
For photo quality, I would select the Olympus.
For speed of snapping a photo (short shutter lag) I would select the Kodak.

New to digital. I've read reviews and have narrowed my choices to these two. I will be using it for general purposes, but mostly for landscape pics. Which is a better camera? Which is easier to use? Which one is better for a newbie? Thanks for any advice.
