KODAK CX6200 PROBLEM

Sep 1, 2004 10:59AM PDT

Hello,

My camera occasionally has an issue where the shutter does not seem to open.
What I mean, is that the LCD display is dark and the flash goes off on all pictures even outside!
The reviewed pictures are just plain black.

I found that if I turn it on and then off a few times and wait a few minutes, it begins to work properly.
Could the batteries cause this?
I figured it couldn't be the batteries as the flash works fine and is ready quite rapidly after each shot.
Thanks for any help
Mike W.

Always swap batteries when odd things happen.

How old is this camera?

When I run into such, I put in the fresh batteries of the type the camera maker wants and if it still does it, the call is made.

Robert,

I purchased new rechargables for digital cameras and will test the camera over the next few weeks.
Thanks for the insight!
