Either by plan or mistake, a collar-bomb killed the wearer though later found to be part of the bank robbery gang. Here's the story...

A strange story indeed

As the bomb was equipped with an everyday timer, it could be that the other two planned for the pizza man to die after he got the money to them. Otherwise, I don't know why the timer would have been set in the first place. Apparently the bomb wasn't sophisticated enough to have been set off from a distance.
