Question

Kingston DT Ultimate G2 16gb slow read/write

Hi, i'm having an issue with my usb wherein its transfer speeds have slowed to a crawl even though its a usb 3.0 device connected to a usb 3.0 port. The problem started when i got a new macbook, and having never used a mac before i didn't realise it doesn't play nice with an NTFS formatted drive. After a bit of research i downloaded ntfs-3g for mac which i hoped would allow me to write to the disk from a mac, however from here on i experienced problem after problem and was forced to format the drive back and forth from ntfs to fat32 trying to solve the issue. Unfortunately now the drive does not seem to be working correctly, is there any way to fix this? thanks for any help, im completely stuck!
