Kim Davis to suffer the wrath of Westboro Baptist Church?

In a bizarre twist, the anti-gay church actually blames Davis for the same-sex marriages she opposes.

You didn't expect the media firestorm over Kentucky clerk Kim Davis to wane without the inevitable commentary from the Westboro Baptist Church, did you?

Still, you may be surprised to learn that members of the church, which is known for its vehement opposition to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community, are actually critical of Davis, who has refused to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples and was taken into custody Sept. 3 after being found in contempt of court.

Officials at the Kansas-based church took aim not just at Davis's refusal to issue licenses, but also her own personal history, on Twitter.

She's been released from jail.

Did they have to drag her out of her cell?

What will happen at work for her tomorrow?

I heard the Pope was visiting America this year...he might have to postpone his visit. There could be a Religious War in America.

Westboro position on marriage divorce is wrong

They don't understand the passages involved, and part of that is bad translations of what Jesus said, and then believing Jesus statements violated the law of Divorce as stated in Deuteronomy chapter 24. No, instead He confirmed it. It's also why when he met the Samaritan woman at the well and spoke to her, he said she'd had 5 husbands and her current man was NOT a husband. Obviously she'd not yet obtained a "git" or decree of divorce from husband number 5.
