I agree! 2.6 worked, then 3.0 was broken. The third 3.0 release worked, but now they have released a new version that doesn't work. Just spent 2 hours on live Chat with a poor woman that was clueless but unable to get others to help her.
Hard to believe, but Samsung via the firmware upgrade ends up with Kies 3 that has LESS FEATURES than the old Kies 2.6. I have a Samsung Tablet (Galaxy 2) and a Galaxy 4 phone. Once upon a time, I could sync my phone and tablet with my desktop calendar and contacts. Now, Kies 3 will not allow me to sync with my desktop and Kies 2.6 won't work with my new Phone. This is a bummer. Now, every time I enter new information into my desktop Outlook Calendar - or contacts - I have to do it straight into my phone. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb. Who in their right mind issues a program (Kies 3) that is now backward compatible? Why would they do that? It defeats the value the Samsung compatibility.
