Kids love playing tank commandos

by SteveGargini / November 19, 2004 8:04 PM PST

This should keep them amused for hours

Download zip file here

1. Create a directory called anarchy on C:
c:\anarchy

2. unzip all the files into that directory
3. Find the exe file with explorer and create a shortcut for the desktop.
4. Click the shortcut and the program will run automatically as a dos program.

It ran fine in windows 98, and is supposed to be ok in XP if my memory serves me right.
To exit the program I just pressed "esc"
The joy stick doesn't give as much control in turning the tank and I found the control keys worked better. Just used the joy stick to fire the shots.
I found I could blast the red blocks out of the way to enable a shot to be fired at a pyramid.
Hope your kids enjoy it.
Steve

Oh! forgot to say - it's free!

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
