It's been awhile but the old discussion called VISTA DEATH BEAM (wifi related) and many other causes are well known.
The fixes for most routers were issued (for most routers) and the CNET NETWORKING FORUM STICKY updated to offer setups that are friendly and stable for most routers.
Try it the way noted in the CNET NETWORKING FORUM STICKY.
im just curious if its possible to kick another person off the internet by going on it yourself. In my home there are 2 laptops, one desk top, and a few gaming systems that all use the internet and every once in a a while the internet just looses connection and the router needs to be restarted. im wondering if its because there are 4 different people all using the same network. I've herd something about mac address filtering that could help from a friend but i figured I'd post here to hear other opinions, thanks in advanced
