Keystroke internet safety software

Mar 30, 2007 6:39PM PDT

I have a young daughter who enjoys being on the internet and visiting various chat sites such as myspace. However, I am concerned about her safety with online sexual predators, etc. I understand there are software programs out there that will track all keystrokes and correspondences so I can monitor what she is doing and the information being exchanged. I am sure there are several programs out there so I am inquiring about which one is the best. Any advise anyone can provide me would be great!

Perhaps not the best forum to ask in

Hi sdcook.

You may struggle to get any responses in this forum. It's here for feedback on the other CNET forums, for problems, etc.

Why not try CNET's Computer Help forum, or the Computer Newbies forum.

I think you will do better in one of those.

Good luck.

Internet Safety Software www.blockoutgoing

Hi...look at www.blockoutgoing.com
This software stops any critical information (last name, address, phone number, etc) from leaving your daughters computer. It also time/date stamps it while taking a full screen shot for you to review. This is Proactive software. Kids forget to "not give out private/personal info." BlockOutGoing is very inexpensive "insurance" just in case your daughter forgets or gets tricked into revealing it.
