Keys on my Toshiba laptop keyboard won't repeat anymore.

Mar 13, 2005 6:02PM PST

Hi there. I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop which has worked fine for the last year. Now if I press any key more than once it does not repeat. Keys also make a low "buzz" when depressed. This applies to all keys - Enter and Backspace, not just letters.

Any ideas?

I have tried changing them & it has made no difference. I also clicked on the "troubleshoot" option but got a message back saying the keyboard was woking properly.

In answer to your questions: No I haven't. And..obviously I don't know.

I have firewall software installed and have installed all Mircosoft Updates as they have appeared. Should I be doing more?

It's discussed daily. The usual (free) tools are SPYBOT, ADAWARE, CWSHREDDER and HOUSECALL.

Your antivirus and firewall software does its thing and SPYWARE is something else entirely.
