Keynote help

Sep 7, 2007 8:24AM PDT

Hey people,

I'm in a little bit of a pickle here, at work we use a program called avelin composer on our parallels desktop to put slideshows up onto plasmas, however this program is ancient, sucks and it needs to go.

We'd use keynote but the problem is you cant really decide when exactly when you want a slide to post and how long for....

does anyone know if there is a plugin that allows keynote to do this?

Thanks in advance for any answers!

Regards,
Andy

Keynote

I'm looking at a Keynote presentation right now. If you display the Inspector, under View > Show Inspector, it will give you the option of creating the transitions from one slide to another.
It allows different effects, timing, how it is initiated and a couple of other things.

For instance, you could have slide one displayed for 5 minutes and then move onto slide 2 for 2 minutes, etc.

Could be that you do not have the Inspector displayed.

Hope this is what you need

First off, thanks for the reply, I appreciate it.

That actually wasnt exactly what I meant: I feel like i didnt make it 100% clear what i need. We use these slideshows to project things on our plasmas around our buildings. So by timing i mean the frequency of a slide appearing in an endless slideshow, and on what day it stops displaying altogether (buf the slideshow keeps going)..

I'm sorry but I do not know the answer to that one.
