Virus Characteristics

This detection is for a Dynamic Loading Library (DLL), which is a keylogger. It monitors websites visited by Internet Explorer and logs the keystrokes into a file ~intfx.dat. The log file is stored in the %APPDATA% directory, which is usually configured in the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders "AppData"
