Question

keyboards not working

Mar 11, 2016 12:43PM PST

A few days ago, all of the keyboards on my computers stopped working. They are all HP products--an older laptop, a new laptop and an older desktop all-in -one. I am typing this on the touch screen of the all-in -one. They are all running Windows 10. Suggestions?

Did you happen to install anything new?

One such rash happened to a client who installed something from a torrent. I can't imagine why they did it to all their PCs but they did.

Then you dig into each PC one by one

To find what caused it. As it stands it's anyone's guess right now. There is so much malware today that well, you know that story. Torrent users often get the latest bad things that can delay and go boom later.
