Question

Keyboard ruined?

Sep 28, 2018 2:24PM PDT

Sooo, my pet rabbit peed on my keyboard last night (didn’t realize the extent til this afternoon) & now I can’t login. Some of the keys are typing different characters.
Is this a doable home/self fix or should I start looking for
a) a new keyboard
b) a new laptop ?

First a test.

Try some USB or Bluetooth keyboard first as a test. If that works then let's get a price on a new keyboard.

I call most replacements to be 2 out of 5 lightbulbs on the hardness scale.

Once we have a make and model we can get a price and maybe a video on how to change it.

I've paid as little as 12 and as much as 100USD for theses depending on the laptop.

Tested with a usb keyboard and it worked fine. Though I still haven’t fully resolved the speed issue. Guess its time to order a replacement keyboard.
