Keyboard problems

by bastley27 / August 1, 2004 11:53 PM PDT

I have a dell desktop that is running XP. My keyboard just starting to require you to hold down each character for about 2 seconds before you see it on the monitor. I tried to update my keyboard driver and reinstall it, with no success. Tried 2 new keyboards also, no luck. Must be something wrong with the computer. If you have any idea please let me know. Thank you.

sounds like you picked up a pest. I would run both As-Aware 6 and Spybot S&D 1.3 both with current updates. You can also try a online virus scanner like housecall.

"Your post didn't reveal what you use to find pests and parasites."

And you seem to have copied your prior post verbatim without taking my subtle hint that you need to tell what Antivirus and other tools you are using.

Please take the hints so we can save the dialogue and focus on your issue faster.

The usual suite is Adaware, Spybot, Cwshredder and Housecall.

Report what the name of the pests you find so the forum can confirm it's it's a known key logger.
