Keyboard keys changed

when windows XP somewhere keyboard keys were changed @ symbol has changed to the key meant for " and vice versa.Op sys windows XP .How to change it ?I believe I might mistakenly selected some other layout.

Control Panel>International>Languages tab>Details button. Select your language, then your keyboard. The keyboard with the @ above the 2 and the # above the 3 is the US keyboard, I think.
