Question

Keyboard isn't respondibg probably

by MikkelBC / March 22, 2015 12:46 AM PDT

I have a MacBook Pro 15" (Ultimo 2011), and yesterday i began having trubles, with my keyboard.

I'm running on the Yosemite Public Beta 10.0, but have already restored to OS X Lion. Which didn't help.

The problem is, that when I Press the " n " key, it writes " n' ", or if I press the " X " key, it writes " X< ". The " z " is now increasing the volume, and so on...

I have already reset the SMC and PRAM, but it hasn't helped..

Did you try external keyboards?

And doesn't Apple's hardware test have a keyboard section? (it's been years since I used that.)

If an external keyboard (USB or wireless) works OK, the first suspect is the keyboard itself. It's not very expensive to have it replaced.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
