OK, so if Windows Safe Mode works (keyboard, etc.) and the BIOS works the keyboard isn't dead to me.
HOWEVER there are issues with malware and sometimes Logitech drivers (which I don't install) to cover.
I can't guess exactly what's up here but my first response is to boot Safe Mode and head to the Mouse and Keyboard areas of Device Manager to remove all mice and keyboards there. I'll not go into deep detail about how Windows adds them back in on the reboot.
Try that, reboot normally and hope that fixes this up.
Hi guys! Need a little here; few weeks ago My psu dies, so I replaced it with a new one, but when I turned on My machine, I found out that nor the keyboard neighter the mouse worked, My first though was that the ps2 ports were dead but it happens that the keyboard does work when choosing safe mode, as well as if I press f8, but nothing beyond that, so I wonder, if ps2 ports are edad, is this supposed to happen? I don't think so. I changed the ps2 mouse for a usb and it's working, the ps2 mouse is also working in another pc. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!
