Question

Keyboard Combos are Restricted or Something

Feb 2, 2015 4:09AM PST

Hello,

Recently my keyboard's Tab key has stopped working, and I've read online that an alternative to the Tab key may be to press Ctrl+I. However, when I try that method I'm greeted with a 'ding' sound and it does nothing. This sound usually plays when there is an input that does not work in the scenario in which it is being used.

I've also tried using another apparent combo, such as Alt+0 0 9, but that also brings the same result. Does anyone know why it isn't working for me?

More information might help system type, L/T, Desktop OS...etc. Of course the first thing to try would be another kybd and go from there..again, more info could help.
