Question

Keyboard and mouse stops working in windows 10

May 10, 2018 2:39AM PDT

I installed windows 10, the problem I am facing is that everytime after 1-2 minutes. Systems blinks and keyboard and mouse stops working. I had to hard reset. First I thought its a hard drive problem, but when I installed windows 7 it worked perfectly. Again I moved back to windows 10 and have the same problem.

Any suggestions what should I do? Clearly its not a hardware problem

If it isn't hardware, it's software. Did you install the motherboard chipset drivers from the makers site after installing Windows 10?

If it doesn't work on a clean install of Windows 10, try an upgrade install from Windows 7.

No, I can't help with download, because you didn't tell what motherboard you have and because it wouldn't be help at all if I had the drivers on my PC here. And I can't help with installing since i don't have access to your PC.
You'll have to do it yourself.

Installing drivers is an essential part of installing Windows. It's an needed competence for everybody who doesn't buy a PC that works out of the box.

Drivers Download

You can go to the computer manufacturer's website drivers support page, and all the popular websites will detect the laptop model for you. And remind you to update the drivers.

Of course, you can download all the drivers by yourself.

If you do not know how to download it from the official site, you can also use a third party software to help you scan the computer. And you can find these software from this page: http://download.cnet.com/
Here you can see the Driver Easy and Driver Booster, these software can help you.
