Drivers. While I did find a way to manually removing (some call it peeling) the registry and drivers of the bad thing, it's nothing I will write how in the wild. That is, I now just reset the PC (factory reset.) Then I tell them to never ever install mice or keyboard drivers.
Go native when it comes to keyboard and mice drivers.
Anyone out there think they know a fair bit about computers? Figure this one out for me then...So 2 days ago I was on my alienware x51 r2 (i3) and I had shut it down over night and when I powered it up in the morning the mouse and keyboard would not work past the bios, now I have tried pretty much every thing and got it to work once by plugging in an extra mouse and keyboard and restarted it, but when I had to reset it for updates it was back to doing the same thing and have had no luck getting it to work again and can't do anything in safe mode either (mouse and keyboard don't work there either) anyone have any fresh ideas? I've tried unplugging the keyboard and mouse and waiting for it to boot plug them back in and still nothing, I've tried several different devices and I can get power from every one of my usb ports on the computer, I'm fairly certain that it is the drivers, but no idea how to fix it, its running on windows 8.
