keyboard acting strange

Hi i recently bought a new pc and all is fine exept the fact that my keyboard is acting strange.by strange i mean that if i dont press any button for like 2 sec it deactivates and i hear the sound that something got unplugged from my usb port.
tryed moving it to other port nothing changed . all other stuff i have plugged in works fine.Its like it goes into hybernate.
i have windows 8

Sounds like a clear warranty issue.

Bear in mind there is so little detail here but since it's new, failed right out of the box, the warranty is clear here. Call them and have them fix it.

Replace the keyboard

Replace the keyboard. If you are with a warranty, claim it.
If not buy a new one. Keyboards are cheap.
