Clarification Request
Given only this much information.

It could be there is a password issue but I can't tell if it's the BIOS or Windows password. Why so little detail?

Answer
Re: keyboard changed

Who changed what?
- You replaced a US keyboard by a UK keyboard.
- The repair shop replaced a broken US keyboard by a new compatible one, but forgot to test.
- The keyboard failed so you're using a wireless external keyboard now.

Or something else?
