Camera gets dusty?
Jul 5, 2007 4:53AM PDT

I'm not sure, but the camera looks like it doesn't have a shutter. Is it easy to get dust/fingerprints on it?

Thanks!

No shutter
Jul 5, 2007 4:56AM PDT

There's no camera shutter but the lens is recessed so we didn't have a problem with fingerprints. On the other hand, the lens is near the top of the phone so you have to make an effort to keep your fingers out of the way.

Screen?
Jul 5, 2007 4:54AM PDT

I just went to the apple store 2 days ago. After trying out one of the iPhone demo phones, I found out that it's really difficult to use the iPhone. Mearly because the screen gets dirty all the time. Fingerprints all over the screen. Do you find it troublesome to have that problem on a phone?

MMS...and vibrate?
Jul 5, 2007 4:55AM PDT

1) Why didn't apple include MMS, and will it likely be added later? If so, when?

2) I've heard the vibrate mode on the iPhone is "weak." Have you found this to be the case?

Iphones Sold
Jul 5, 2007 4:55AM PDT

I read that they've already sold over 500,000 of them, is this true and if it is, should the iphone be already considered a success?

iPhone users in Canada
Jul 5, 2007 4:55AM PDT

I am a die-hard mac user, I'm sure one of the first to have owned the first Gen iPod's in my province in Canada when it appeared years ago. I want the iPhone of course, but apparently it's locked. What are my options?

Size
Jul 5, 2007 4:56AM PDT

Is the iPhone small enough to fit it into your pocket? I ride lots of roller coasters and like to keep my phone in my pocket instead of let the operators take care of it. Would it fit nicely?

Very slim
Jul 5, 2007 4:59AM PDT

It fits nicely in a pocket but you might want to consider buying a case if the roller coasters are very rough!

The Screen and Fingerprints
Jul 5, 2007 4:58AM PDT

I'm just curious, how does one clean a phone with a touch screen display? Is it necessary to shutdown the phone first or is there a clean scren mode where the screen stops responding to touch input for a certain amount of seconds long enough to clean the screen?

JaJah iPhone Mobile Voip
Jul 5, 2007 4:59AM PDT

Along with my first question about using an iPhone in Canada, i just wanted to make it clear that I'm not too worried about having cell coverage if I can use JaJah Mobile for a voip service. I know it's only good on a wi-fi network, but where I am in Canada, there is a lot of wi-fi anyway, and at 3.5 cents a minute, thats not gonna break the bank. Can I use the iPhone as a stand alone wide screen Ipod w/out the phone aspect?

Thanks!
