Keeping quality through upload onto computer

Mar 5, 2006 7:18AM PST

Hello, my first post yay! I just bought a Sony HC-90 Camcorder and was wondering how to keep the quality throughtout editing and uploading. When I plug the camcorder directly to a TV it looks crisp and perfect but when I put it on my computer and burn DVDs it looks horrible. Can someone enlighten me on how to fix this? Thank you

PS: I use Adobe Priemere Elements 2.0 for editing
PSS: I use Windows movie maker for uploading.

Thanks again!

Try WinDV (google.com) and don't compress too much. Capture rate should be about 200 MB per minute, not the 3MB/min that Win Movie Maker suggests.
