May 20, 2010 10:46AM PDT

I am using a HP TouchSmart 300-1115uk. and I have had it crash on me several times. When I turn it on I have a blue screen massage come up and it restarts them when I log back in it starts working as normal. Please view the technical details of the crash as shown below (this is the recent crash I had) I have looked at the other crashes an it seems it the same problem causing the crash...

That is not of any use.

What you need to know is that your technical details are not usable for diagnosis. Need proof? Call up HP and Microsoft and listen as they ask for other details. They will likely mention malware, repair and reinstalling the OS.

Let's cover the malware with a little help from Grif. Read what Grif writes at http://forums.cnet.com/5208-6121_102-0.html?threadID=378815&tag=forums06;forum-threads

While you think of revealing more details, simple things like running 2 antivirus could do that. But details are too light in your post.

What kind of detail is needed?

I have been running Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool to check if there is anything and it nutting has been detected, and debugged the computer n hope that helps fix the problem so am going to have to wait if it crashes again and I have previously run a scan its reported 3 Trojans but it say they have been fixed. So I don't know what else could be the problem.

3 Trojans

That would have been good to note in your first post since while you can remove the 3 Trojans the damage they can do may never be corrected. This is something that needs to be written more often.

Remember these are discussion forums with no paid staff. YOU get to work harder to get your discussion with all the details. Imagine if with every post the 20 questions were asked with every post? That would get old fast and no one would reply after awhile. Many don't get this and flame out.

So with the trojan damage you consider backup of your files and starting over.

PS. Details are asked for with every post.

"Note: If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem."

Examples may be the age of the machine, if an OS reload doesn't fix it and if it's under warranty etc.

Okay I see...

Well What bothering me is that this computer is pretty new its less than 6 months old. It is running on Windows 7 Home Premium on x64 bit. Am sure its still got warranty cover maybe might have to get it replaced through warranty

Beware that warranty.

If they reload the OS they may charge you extra. Software, especially after being damaged by today's malware and more is not a warranty issue. The cost might surprise you.
