Keep getting Adobe pop up on Cnet.

Says the software has not been installed and prompts/requests to install it. Odd. If this occurred anywhere else I'd be highly suspicious. Are you sure you have not been security compromised? I'd run some scans. Looks like Spyware to me.

The top banner ads, the Cnet videos, and a few other components of the Cnet websites use Flash. Depending on your exact Internet Explorer security settings you may be automatically prompted to install the plugin if it's nonfunctional. Try uninstalling Flash Player then installing the latest version directly from Adobe.

It doesn't seem to be anything suspicious, just a message saying that some element of the web page needs a component installed.

Did you try that?
