KDE4 sleep problems.

Sep 17, 2009 6:57AM PDT

HELLO, i am current using mandriva linux 2009.1 on my laptop. Although mandriva is a fantastic linux distro, my one complaint is that when i wake my laptop from sleep mode my computer lights up but my screen stays black. Any suggestions? Am I doing somthing wrong?

Nearly as fast without the deep issues that sleep can provoke.

[UPDATE] PROBLEM SOLVED.

I was able to fix this problem by updating to mandriva 2010 release candidate 2.
mandriva 2010 uses the latest linux kernel (version 2.6.31.4) and the latest version of kde (version 2.3.2). Now my laptop can enter and return from sleep without any problems.
