Kazaa bandwith problem

Dec 26, 2004 5:02AM PST

hey.. i just noticed that if you take an ac/dc song for example, and download it from all the high bandwidth people, which takes 3-4 seconds, and you try to play it you get nothing, but if u try to download it from all the low people, lets say a 5 meg song taking 4 minutes, it will come out perfect... how come?

Marijus, You Never Know What You'll Get With KaZaa
Dec 26, 2004 5:28AM PST

Although I am aware that KaZaa and other P2P file sharing programs have the ability to be used legally, in your case, you have specifically mentioned downloading a copyrighted music file. Since the FORUM POLICIES prohibit discussing illegal activities, we can give you no support in this issue.

In my opinion, since KaZaa is a major hole for spyware and viruses, I'll give you an excellent link to a previous discussion about the potential damage that KaZaa can do to your computer.

My advise to you
Dec 26, 2004 12:20PM PST

My advise to you is that you were lucky this time. Like Grif stated, you don't know what you are getting when you download from a p2p newtork. Next time you might download a virus and then you won't be able to hear your ac/dc. Also remember if you try to uninstall Kazza you will find out it will NOT totally uninstall. Also you will soon start getting error messsages on your computer because of the Kazza program. Happy downloading

I find it difficult

to believe that this person has posted in a public forum that he is downloading copyrighted material off a P2P network.

Amazing.

If you talk to most people who do, they don't believe they are doing anything wrong. At least that is what they have told me.
