It's very likely the laptop will keep working after 2023 if you have downloaded the latest driver. Just in case Intel not only doesn't make any newer version but also removes the old ones (quite unlikely, I'd say) keep a backup copy around.

Typically on OEM computers back before Windows 10

drivers only came out and were available on the OEM's model page for the OS that was originally installed on that PC. When a new OS was released drivers weren't released for that new OS. Most of the time the old ones still worked in the new OS. Some driver's are created by the component maker and are given to the OEM and get modified for their specific models. Alot of time the original component maker continues to update drivers for their components and will work OEM pc's with the same component but it's not 100%. What companies mean with stopping support is they aren't doing new drivers after the time specified. So that statement means the drivers installed before the 3 years won't break they just will stop releasing updates.

Thanks. Then how not releasing updates could affect my pc? Should I avoid updating my OS in three years?

I've chatted about this before.

For many drivers there are no updates needed unless there is a security issue or a bug is found.

I'm encountering folk that think drivers should be updated. I disagree. I posit they should be only updated for a very good reason.

No reason at all to not update Windows and all your applications when there are updates available.
