JVC Smart TV not always connecting to the internet

Hi. We recently purchased a JVC 32" LED smart TV...model no LT32C671.
This is the second TV of this make and model ....we took the first one back as they said it was probably a fault.
Set up was easy and it says it's found the wireless router and has a strong connection, either four or five bars each time but when you press the button on the remote to go in to either YouTube or iPlayer it says "no internet connection".
We go back in to settings and the connection is still fine.
Have checked the router and with the internet provider, all good and all our other devices are connecting without problems. Tried the router next to the TV and in another room.
Some times it will connect but it's very sporadic.
So my questions are...
Is this another faulty TV that needs returning?
Is there anything I can try to solve this?
All help much appreciated as it's driving us nuts!

I consider it a fault in a consumer product that doesn't at least TRY another DNS on its own.

Can you tell if the distance to the router is 20 feet or less? If over 20, makers tend to tell you it's not the set's problem.

Did you try with the DNS set to 8.8.8.8?

Sorry I'm unsure what a DNS is.
The router is right next to the TV.

You are OK with a wired connection. Remember that Smart TVs are so far, less than a Roku Stick experience with the exception of the Roku TVs.

As to the DNS, I agree that consumers shouldn't have to be IT techs.
