I wanted to get my client the Pro series, but there are over 200 back ordered in the US, thus up here in Canada I would have to wait about 6 months. So we settled on the consumer model (which really is the same thing)
If you plan on watching regular cable (no digital box) then forget it, it will show you every imperfection in the picture and you will not be happy. Plug in an HD digital cable box, or I am sure a satellite receiver with HD and all will be good. Regular channels will still look just OK, but all the digital and HD channels will be stunning. A good DVD player with HDMI or DVI out will also look very good, we used an Oppo. The consumer model has a setting called "theatre Pro" this is a pre calibrated to 6500k setting. If you are optimizing your room so that the TV will be in a dark area for viewing, use this setting and you will be extreemly happy. I'm not saying YOU have to be in the dark, just the set should be for the best viewing, this applies to any big screen set out there.

I have a couple of pictures on my blog site taken before everything was complete, but you will see the set in action.
