Why it did not show the date & time on the video, when i played it on tv?

according to http://books.jvcservice.com/Download/6966833/LYT1671-001B.pdf

Refer to page 49. There are three items
Display on TV - the factory default is Off. Should be ON.
Date Display Style
Date/Time - the factory default is Auto. Should be ON.

So... Read the manual and use the menu... and change the settings.
