im looking for my first HD cam ... ive messed around with a SD for a while so i wanna up grade
computer has a firewire port, then MiniDV tape is a viable option for you. If not - or if you are unwilling or unable to add a firewire port to your computer - then the decision is made for you regardless of the camcorder's capabilities. In either case, a fast CPU, lots of RAM, external hard disc drive and appropriate video editing software are needed to properly work through high definition video.
