If your requirements include "good audio", it may not be the "best bang for the buck" since this camcorder has no external mic connector. The built-in mics are fine when used so the mics can work properly, but many times, this means the video image is not what is wanted, so when the video image is what is wanted, the mics are not in the right place and an external mic is preferred...
There are other, similar, examples. If we knew what you want to use the camcorder for, we'd have a better chance at understanding what will work for your needs.
If all you need is something inexpensive with little regard for features, video and audio quality, and if $150 fits your budget, then this camcorder is probably just fine (and similarly priced to other refurbed units from Sony, Panasonic and Canon...
