by bmcgurl / July 3, 2007 11:37 AM PDT

I was wondering, I am having problems with the clarity of my 61 inch projection screen tv, I have had the cable company to my house on 3 ocassions, they ran new lines and the meters are reading positive, but my tv still isnt clear. Ive tried cable boosters and even a different tv (61 inch RCA) but its all the same. What else could I possibly do?!?!

PROBLEM SOLVED I THINK
by stewart norrie / July 3, 2007 11:50 AM PDT

Do you have the hi-def cable system? and did you order the hi-def package? If not you are only getting standard def and that is going to give you a crummy picture when you add the hi-def system and hi-def package you will open the door for awsome programming and a true hi-def picture. I would also consider checking out Dish Network less money and more hi-def channels + they will throw in all your local hi-def channels for free the dish hi-def package is only $10.oo per months and that is 20 hi-def channels + your locals in digital and hi-def I have the dish system and receive 30 total hi-def channels cable wont come close please reply steweee

Thats what the cable guy told me also, but its like an extra 20 a month my bill with cable internet is already like 88 a month with digital cable and with the internet, so it would jump up to 110 a month which to me is ridiculous especially since all the channels arent HD and since I don't sit and watch tv all day. The dish is just about the same I think, but I may look into it

BM THIS MIGHT WORK FOR YOU

Use you cable service for internet only Then add Dish network for your home theater, check prices for both services It should be much cheaper going this way, Dish basic withe the hi-def package should run about $40.00 per month Also its not the amount of hi-def channels its all about quality programming once you watch planet earth on discovery h.d. theater you will see its worth every penny you pay for the hi-def package I just upgraded to the dish 222 system with this unit I have a hi-def feed to my main hi-def t.v. and the box also feed a second anolog t.v. in my bedroom with no box the remote control uses radio freq, so the second t.v. will work anywhere in the house. your t.v. is worthless unless you feed the poor thing post back please happy 4th stewee

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
