Hi Josh,

I thought the White Stripes were great! I was amazed everyone wore clothing...even Christina Aguilera! Wink

I'll warn you in advance, the audio techs should be taken out back and shot though, they did a terrible job with the mix, lots of technical glitches, and the sound as a whole was horrible for most all the performances.

I'd guess that people's choices of clothing probably changed rather quickly after the Super Bowl incident.

Hopefully I'll get to watch the bits I'm interested in tonight.

Sounds......musta been the "Rap Crap"....
Feb 9, 2004 3:47AM PST

the techs wanted to tune into.

I loved the less recent music of MoTown, Blues, Jazz, and an awful lot of black singers great songs that they performed beautifully. BUT, this black 'Rap Crap' that seems to dominate lately is NO TALENT in my book, unless you want to say this or that person can yak better than another to sometime on occasion good melodys.

IMCO almost anyone can do RAP CRAP, helps with a southern accent and lots of movements.

Isn't that normal these days?

The lousy sound I mean. After all, aren't a lot of these 'performers' lyp-synching? Happy

If anything, that should mean better sound....

...since everything is pre-recorded and pre-mixed. If Britney was singing live and without the benefit of $50,000 worth of technology processing her voice, it wouldn't be pretty.

In the coverage on Good Morning America today it was said that he was told to apologize.

But he continued to say he had no idea it was going to happen.

I guess he grabbed her bodice because he spotted a poisonous spider there.

Sounds like a modern day, Clintonesq apology.

I wonder which part of it surprised him? The reaction perhaps?

Maybe he was surprised to discover

that some girls have barbed metal things on the end of it. You know, if this was about 20+ years ago many would have thought it was an innovative place where she decided to keep an extra kid's fancy diaper pin.

Ouch!

Janet had to abandon the 'accident' gambit thanks to that thing. Why was she wearing it if she didn't expect it to be seen?

heh, heh, I wonder if that one EVER worked, LOL.

He should have apologized for having won

What a no-talent....

What did he win a grammy for?
Feb 9, 2004 5:31AM PST

I don't know if I've heard anything by him, nothing I recall. My girls don't play NSynch music around here at all, and that was their decision. They don't seem to like the group, but not sure why. I'll try to remember and ask them later.
