who pulled it. That post has also been pulled I have to point out that he is not a speakeasy moderator and should have minded his own business!
If I were in your shoes I would object directly to Lee Koo!

The truth is not to be tolerated in here is it?

In reply to: Mark, we had several alerts from those offended

That post was pulled by a moderator who had no business in here in the first place. MarkFlax who posted that he was responsible and then within an hour deleted his post.

I think that in the future we should all stick to posting graham cracker recipes as this place has begun to have an odor of decay.

Even the official spin from cnet is beginning to smell stale.

just FYI

"a moderator who had no business in here"

true, certain forums have 'designated' moderators (or vice versa), but they also have 'roaming rights'...

i delete in other forums, other mods will delete here

It's a little hard to know what's allowed..

when the rules seem to keep shifting.

I didn't see Mark's link. I take it it depicted WW II Holocaust victims. Haven't we all seen these pics before? I am not sure why they would be considered not fit for SE, especially with a warning.

.... most, if not all, were taken by Allied photographers when they were discovered after Germany fell.

Why did they take them? Evidence to show the world what had truly happened in Germany, and the countries they occupied.

These were in newreels, magazines and books. I was a young teen when I first saw them. Sure, they made me sick, but not from having seen them, but the sheer horror of the Nazis and what they did to create a master Aryan race, and to quell any opposition to them.

These aren't photos of people who committed suicide by jumping off the 30th floor of a building. Or of drowning victims who had been in the water for a month.

We should be offended. But not offended by seeing them, but because that such happened to those victims of hate.

In reply to: and you said have warning there

Maybe more "tired of" than "afraid of"

Many times in the past you've told others (when decisions went your way) to quit whining.
