I am just reformating and starting over. Besides not being able to access any of the old files, the thing was acting up just like before anyway, so time to wipe the slate completely clean.
Chris
Ok, so I had completely destroyed my running version of Windows XP (Professional). Long story, started with a virus and then I made some bad mistakes. Anyway, I reloaded windows XP. When I log on now as the administrator, I can't open the files from the old load. They are there.. 3/4 of my disk is still full of stuff. My stuff. But when I click on the account name in Documents and Settings, it says it "is not accessible" Access is Denied.
How do I make them accessible again?? This is the stuff in the MyDocument folder under my old user name (was the administrator) I am logged in as the administrator with the reload as well.
Please help.
THanks
Chris
