Just received Phillips Wireless Music Receiver and need help

by tech_fantatic / October 17, 2006 2:09 PM PDT

I just received my receiver today. Reading the description of the product online at Wal-Mart I didn't understand that the product did not actually play the music. Rather, it acted as the device holding to music to play on your speakers. Now that I actually think about it, it does make sense, but I didn't see that mentioned on Wal-Marts site and read a review that said the sound was great, so that threw me off a little as well.

Music is not all that important to me. I usually just listen to the radio because I have it in a built in intercom system running through out my home. But, I was wanting to listen to some of my CDs and stuff once and a while. The current player I have was just too big. So, I was wanting something rather small, which is why this device appealed to me.

Anyhow, is there anyway to set up this receiver without actually getting a seperate set of speakers. The main reason I wanted it was so I didn't have the speakers all over. I was thinking that maybe I could use my Panasonic TH-42PD50U for the speakers. I didn't know if this would be bad on my Tv or if there was another option. But, I would just prefer not to have speakers on top of the actual device.

If anyone has any ideas, that would be great.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
