Question

just half of hdd

by anachin6000 / November 8, 2014 8:55 PM PST

I recently bought a Lenovo ideapad flex 2-15 and on lenovo's site says that it has 500gb or 1000gb, but when I opened My Computer I have 220gb (195 in C drive and 25 gb in D drive). Why? How I can use all storage capacity if it truly has 500gb?

A big chunk is used for the OS, recovery system and backup areas. Try Kees answer to see more about that HDD.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
