Just got a Panasonic LCD TV Model LN46B610A5F

Jul 24, 2009 11:07AM PDT

I was wondering about the firmware update...The firmware that is on there now is 2009/04/09_001008 I was wondering how to find out if there is a newer version of firmware for my tv...went to www.samsung.com and registered my product and then went to support but couldn't see where the firmware is...

I found out you can hook up a Samsung-LinkStick Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter, but was wondering how to do it without a internet connection, because the LinkStick is like $79.99 and just bought the tv and blu-ray so was wondering if there was a way to download it to a Flash Drive and how to use it.

In Advance Thank You for your time and patience!

Why do you think you need a firmware update?

1. What update do you think you need?

2. You need broadband connection for the linkstick. Most likely broadband with a wireless router.

I just got the Panasonic LCD TV...

Was reading the manual and it says they have firmware updates...and so I'm trying to find out if there is a firmware update newer than the one on my TV.

And if maybe there is a way to do it without using a $79.99 Samsung LinkStick. If maybe I can download it to my computer then to my FlashDrive...but I don't know where to look for the firmware update on the Samsung website...I thought it was under the "Support Tap" but I don't see it.
