Are you pointedly saying then

that HIS money would have been better off in the hands of his GOVERNMENT because they would have been much better at managing it and spreading it around?

ROTFLMAO

What you don't get is IT'S HIS MONEY TO RISK...................

I think your post was directed at my post

So,

In response to

Are you pointedly saying then that HIS money would have been better off in the hands of his GOVERNMENT because they would have been much better at managing it and spreading it around?

I'm saying...Just because you're "really, really rich" doesn't mean you can "run anything" a business OR a Government with any guarantee....

Trump...really, really, rich.....Successful? businessman....That helped 4 companies go bankrupt.....(he's in denial?...not the first thing he's denied and was proven wrong)

IF your post wasn't a response to MY post...Disregard THIS response to your post.

- Collapse -
No,, my posted wasn't directed at you, BUT

since you directed ME to disregard your post, you just KNEW I wouldn't, didn't you?

Trump v BO with regard to 'failures'...........Trump-----FOUR associated companies file bankruptcy...........BO ---- TOO MANY TO COUNT and HE used TAXPAYER money when those companies files bankruptcy.

And 'just because you were a community organizer, a State Senator, AND a Federal Senator, doesn't mean you can 'run anything' with any guarantee, even after trying for seven years now........especially when AS a Federal Senator you claimed Bush was anti-American for increasing the National Debt and then triple HIS numbers and just went on TV TWO days ago to demand even more by stating that he will NOT sign a new CR in December and accuse Republicans of never passing a budget when his own leader in the Senate (Reid) refused to offer one for five years and wouldn't bring the House budget up for a vote in all those years.

RE: FOUR associated companies file bankruptcy

Do you consider these "associated companies" or " successes"?

Trump Casinos, Trump: The Game, Trump Magazine, Trump Steaks, GoTrump.com, Trump University, Trump Mortgage

Can he pick a winner or what?

AND

How Donald Trump cashes in even when his name-brand properties fail

We made many millions of dollars on it but never invested a dime,” said Trump’s son Eric, an executive in the Trump Organization.

Everyone loses BUT "The Donald"?

Sounds like he knows how to take.....(from the taxpayer?)

He can't get enough from his "business associates"...There is an untapped market of taxpayers out there to gouge.

- Collapse -
Operative word "INVESTORS"

IF he manages to get PRIVATE individuals to INVEST and they lose their money, they were willing to take the risk (and many came back to Trump to invest in new projects that turned out to be 'winners'). IF BO takes TAXPAYER money WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT OR KNOWLEDGE AHEAD OF TIME AND LOSES THAT INVESTMENT, BO HASN'T INVESTED A DIME OF HIS MONEY EITHER.........does that make HIM the 'winner' on projects that 'take on HIS name' as failures?

Trump had his name taken off most of those project that went under....and first one was a personal 'failure' for him that he took pretty hard and came back stronger. BO's failures have never been apologized for and instead doubled down on doing the same....again without taxpayer consent or knowledge ahead of time. THOSE investors had no choice in his 'deals' and lost billions, compared to Trump's investors who lost millions but still were willing to risk again with him.

What projects are you saying Trump tapped taxpayers over? If you are talking about normal city/county/state incentives that are offered to ALL businesses every single day, that isn't cash in hand given to him like BO did...those are tax credits or tax relief over a number of years and then taxed down the road. Normal business practices and taxpayers aren't hurt since their money wasn't used.

RE: IF he manages to get PRIVATE individuals
IF he manages to get PRIVATE individuals to INVEST and they lose their money, they were willing to take the risk

AND IF/WHEN Trump looks at/considers "taxpayers" as "PRIVATE individuals/investors"?

"Make America Great Again"? (with taxpayers work/money?)

How do you think his ego will let him follow what someone else thinks he should do?

Would HE be able to take the blame for HIS actions, when he follows THEIR advice...When he puts his "name" on something that's all that's there "just his name". You probably think I'm talking about Obama. Sounds a lot like your description of Obama

Another Obama with a yellow rug for a hairpiece?

As I've responded to you previously

Donald (the buck stops somewhere else) Trump.

IF I could

comprehend this entire post of babble I would know how to respond. There wasn't one thing in this post that even came close to making any sense.

What are private investors in your opinion? Taxpayers? They used their OWN money to invest with........they weren't dipping into monies paid the government via taxes like BO has repeatedly done for 'HIS' agenda of 'winners and losers'...........

IF you can respond and make sense, I'll be back, but until then..........Bye.........

RE: What are private investors in your opinion? Taxpayers?

MY opinion?

I thought we were talking about Trump's opinion.

RE:IF I could comprehend this entire post of babble I would know how to respond. There wasn't one thing in this post that even came close to making any sense

Perhaps you could select each line that is confusing you, tell me what you THINK it means and I'll tell you if you're correct or I'll try and explain using shorter words or a detailed explanation of what I'm trying to say/point out.

Fer instance...this line here

Donald (the buck stops somewhere else) Trump

Is a reference to "The buck stops here" is a phrase that was popularized by U.S. President Harry S. Truman, who kept a sign with that phrase on his desk in the Oval Office. The phrase refers to the fact that the President has to make the decisions and accept the ultimate responsibility for those decisions.

With The Donald...the companies went bankrupt...not him...the "buck" stopped at the "companies". IF he becomes President...he'll .have a bunch of advisers , when something goes wrong...HEY!!!! It's not my fault...those guys told me what to do.

He'll deny everything and the buck stops over there....4 marriages, 4 bankruptcies...

Pick a line in the post that confused you, post it and I'll see what I can do for you.

BTW Are you still in the Tea Party?

- Collapse -
PS

Donald "run the government as a business" Trump with "taxpayers" as "PRIVATE individuals/investors"?

Just in case that was one of the lines that caused some "confusion/inability to comprehend".

- Collapse -
I still have no idea what you are saying

Yes, private investors also pay taxes.....but they aren't taking from an entire country's taxpayers to invest with. They are using their OWN earned money to take that risk. Can you say the same for BO? Trump also pays taxes, but risks his own money in investments.........

So what exactly IS your point....IF you can explain what the definition of "IS is" to quote another of your liberal heroes.

- Collapse -
OK...I'll try it this way

Trump wants to be President.

Any questions/disagreement about that statement?

Let me know if I'm going to fast for you.

please, do go on a fast

We will be waiting when you return.

RE: We will be waiting when you return.

Isn't one second coming enough for you?

- Collapse -
OK....I'll play along with your nonsense

You could add up every single bankruptcy that Trump was 'involved' in (do you actually blame him personally for a failing company? If so, then you have to also blame BO for all of his) and still never even come CLOSE to what BO has lost using taxpayer money. Just because Trump talked those people into investing in some venture and Trump allowed his name to be used on the buildings, doesn't mean he stuck around and did the bookkeeping for them........but somehow you believe that all those other millionaires/billionaires were so stupid that Trump steered them into bankruptcy. For what purpose? Don't you think they were able to 'handle' their own financial investments (how DID they make all their money in the first place that was partially used to invest)....and not all the same people were involved in all four businesses that went belly-up. If you look at the dates of those episodes, you can see that the economy was already tanking (dot.com around 2000 and 2007-2008 when Dems in Congress were telling so many millions of people that everything was just fine and dandy).

Do you believe that his four marriages equal four bankruptcies? Were his wives at fault?

Yes, I'm still a Tea Party member.......have you finally stopped beating your dog?

- Collapse -
RE: the economy was already tanking (dot.com around 2000 and

And Bush was President?

Do you believe that his four marriages equal four bankruptcies?

Equals? No...Just 4 more things he helped to screw up.

Yes, I'm still a Tea Party member

So now the Tea Party is supporting Trump...after all the things he said?

- Collapse -
Dot.com tumble hit

right as BC was leaving office. Bush had nothing to do with it.

How many things can you count that BO has screwed up on a personal decision making level compared to what you obviously blame Trump for regarding the four investments that went bankrupt (all while he was NOT running them....he had only invested in them....bookkeeping was other people's responsibility and they obviously weren't as good at it as he has been with his other companies)

Re: What are private investors in your opinion? Taxpayers?

Private-Public partnerships, often referred to as P3s, are exactly what they sound like. A government agency joins with a private company to fund and operate a project. Toll roads, light rail and even parking meters have been built or maintained through this arrangement, characterized by some as innovation, and others as neoliberalism at its worst.

Here is a big article on Taxpayers vs. Private Investors, hope this will help you to understand in better way.

- Collapse -
Divert and deflect as usual

Your article clearly is about PUBLIC PROJECTS. Trump didn't have any, and there is no proof that any governments were involved in them, in any way other than the usual tax incentives that ALL State and Local governments offer to businesses to come to their city/state.

Yes....there are SOME companies that rely on both government and private fundings, but Trumps aren't in that pool.

So....since that has been settled, I'll assume we are finished with your nonsense.

Liberals divert and deflect, as usual

when they either don't know what they're talking about or don't know enough to debate anymore......or they don't like the direction the conversation is going so they have to veer it into another direction. This poster did the typical......changed to a topic about PUBLIC PROJECTS when it wasn't the topic either because he made an incorrect assumption or he didn't understand the difference between a public project and a private one.

You felt the need to 'defend' the poster....were you feeling left out so you had to find something to post about again, JP?

I did reply

but you didn't comprehend what I said, I guess, so you had to pretend I was the stupid one and you had to say it again slowly.....it's YOU who hasn't responded to my reply.

Complete and utter babble and nonsense is all you seem to be good for anymore, JP.........try putting some thought into what you have to say and maybe you would have to repeat yourself twenty times trying to make a point that is 'unmakeable'.

Everything after that was babbling bull from you and defense of another poster who didn't follow the yellow brick road long enough to know he wasn't on the same topic........don't bother to get back to me because you STILL have no clue about what you want from me and just keep coming from your 'fantasy land'.
