General discussion

Just an FYI. . .

SBC is offering ADSL for $14.95 am month if you sign up via the internet. This is hard to beat. There are a few "provisions", but nothing you can't live with.

I finally talked my tight-wad father-in-law into gettin it, I'm going to install it for him tomorrow.

Since the standard (not the ad based ones) ISP charges around 19 bucks, this is a sweet deal.

I hope this isn't considered Spam, it's just an FYI.

See if he can get the Pro set up. SBC upgraded me last month and my speed doubled from around 1200-1300 to 2400-2600!

He's been on dial-up forever. After he sees what he'll get, he may upgrade. 'Course, I'm on cable, 4 Meg download. Wheeeeee!!
